There are definitely many benefits of online shopping, after all it’s convenient, open 24 hours, and offers various shipping options just to name a few.
However like most things there is also the downside.
In this article we’re going to discuss a few of the things that are not so great about shopping online.
Internet Connections
We all can get a bit frustrated when a website takes too long to load or you have a slow Internet service. This can be especially frustrating if you’re trying to make a purchase and things are moving along so slowly that your are ready to forget the online purchase all together!
A slow loading site may be a problem on your end if you have a slow Internet connection, or it may be a problem with the website itself. This can be especially true if there are a lot of graphics on the page that have to load. No matter what the reason for slow a loading site, it’s not going to make the shopper very happy and may leave them with a very bad impression of the whole online shopping experience.
What if You Made a Mistake on Your Order?
Another thing that could be a problem with shopping online is making a mistake on your order. The frustrating part is trying to get the mistake fixed.
With online shopping everything is pretty much automated and the customer service hours are likely to be limited and may not be available when you’re making your purchase. One example could be that you entered the wrong shipping address but didn’t catch it before the order went thru. Since everything is automated it can be difficult to get it corrected before the order enters the shipping process. This is why you need to be careful when entering your shipping and payment details with your online orders.
Buyer Beware
We all hate to read the fine print of anything, but when making an online purchase you really need to be sure to read the fine print before placing your order. The things your really need to be aware of are the taxes, shipping fees, payment options, item descriptions and their return policy.

The biggest problem I believe with online shopping is the site you may be ordering from may not be secure.I had that happen to me this past August.I ordered something off of site that was not secured and someone got a hold of my credit card number and ordered $56.00 worth of movies.I had to go to the bank and get a block on my credit card number and the bank gave me a credit for the money that was taken from my account.That was one of my worst shopping experiences I have ever had.
